news or no news i reckon that there may be an inflection point pretty soon. there has been sustained short selling for a good while now with upwards of 25-30% of the days trade short.as of the 21/1 there were net shorts of 1.33 million, no idea how many may have been closed since, but another 500,000 or so shorted this week as well, and judging by the action today could well see that added to considerably.traded in a pretty tight band during all this so for the shorters to make money they will have to get it well below 7 dollars, the problem they have at the moment is the skinny sell side. as i write about 100000 up to 8 dollars. just my take but if they have to cover could be look out. more professional views welcome.cheers.
