Stockbashers

Always interests me when so called long term investors who have made substantial losses on a stock attempt to shoot down any glimmer of positive news on the horizon. They will always find reasons for deep cynicism and often reply with toxic comments claiming they know better and have a wealth of bitter experience from their long term investment. The logic of course is that any genuine investor down on the stock would welcome any good news in the hope of a recovery of their losses. Constantly being the first to knock any news and desperation to get the last word on a stock are the hallmarks of a stockbasher (or bashers), who ultimately does/do benefit from rapid fire comments designed to undermine confidence in new and existing investors because they either short the stock or get paid from those who do, or just want to average down by getting the stock to fall. Beware Ye Who Invest Here for the Company is Only after Your Money!! Interesting that ARV is obviously trapped in a trading range and sold down as soon as it rises.

I've seen this on several forums and it's always worth shining a torch on this misdemeanour, just in case it's happening on a stock you may own or are thinking about owning... Just a few personal thoughts...
