Hi Plbert. Welcome to CVN. Pan Orient Energy of Canada owns 60% of pretty well all the oil concessions in Thailand in which CVN has an interest ,CVN having the other 40%. Each has other interests but not enough other interests for investors not to be reasonably safe in applying a crude yardstick to any news re the shared assets that if POE goes up/down 5% as a consequence of the news so should CVN ,sort of. Any opinions of the merits of POE tend to have application to CVNs prospects but a broker could be favourably disposed towards POE because of some non-shared assets so you have to be a bit careful there. General concensus in Canada is that POEs $C 6 current SP could have 50% upside potential in the next 12 months,and this is about the % figure that many in Australia would say is appropriate to CVNs SP in that period.
