watso uses pasta to thicken up (ie soak up the fluids) the world famous stews that he cooks .. works better than flour ..
100gm of relevant pasta, cooked for 17minutues (spelling looks wrong - but brave watso is cowered to trust in the spell checker ) in an appropriate sized vacuum flask - then combined with a tin of herring (in a tasty sauce) . is a quick and easy meal - and tasty .. maybe even toss in some diced carrots - cooked in the microwave
