With due respect , and there have been some good points made here ..But only one reason this speech was made . Permits for smaller blocks , greater density , and therefore increased profits for the developer .
In Victoria , we are now looking forward a little , with the Regional Hub development centres ..eg : Dandenong , which is an excellent concept .
Unfortunately old style organisations like " SAVE OUR SUBURBS " held back what would have been some excellent development , which is now happening anyhow .
Stocklands interst , however " moral " it is made out to be , has little to do with house sizes , Its about development permits , and all the others would be cheering them om also .
