re: commodities is the boom over Buy commodities that are in structural demand and shot supply. Best short supply metals are Zinc and Copper. Gold will be driven by USD - Problem is the largest buyers (Being Indian and Chinese jewellers) are no longer paying up for the gold as the price is too high. These buyers repesent 2/3 of the buying market.
Best Commodity plays outside the stable BHP are the highly leveraged producers such as ZFX for Zinc and ABY for Copper...... ABY probably the best leverage given it is relatively new to the mark and the instos are only just getting set now....
