Why is it so? Is there an understanding that a young single caucasian mother in those days may have been unequipped to care for a child in the absence of welfare, but an exposed indigenous mother (unrated by her violent culture) struggling in the new changing world, child in the dirt with no future and a burden on her existence in the eyes of dogooders at the the time. Are they saying she could have easily raised the child ... that though they call child theft and a smear on the moddern day white fella who must attone for the injustice?

there was a place called fairbridge just outside of Pinjarra. I knew some who were shipped here as young girls. they didn't have pretty stories - but they were white and English so it isn't a consideration in todays guilt ridden pc mad world.
