The indigenous issue has far more traction than others created by the culture of the time because there are groups of them who are out in self destruct mode. Drinking, crime, sexual abuse, drugs etc. They call this disadvantage.
In a sad and sick way it gives the well to do urban dwelling activists something to point to when they cry of being victims.
Talk about riding off the back of their peoples misery.
