After more than 300 court cases on behalf of "The Stolen Generation", and lost every one of them, finally a Judge awarded a verdict in favour of the plaintiff . That opened the flood gates.
Most were abandoned and/or left sick with the various Missions.
No one mentions the good that those missions did. They clothed, fed and educated their charges. Had they not, they would have died from malnutrition or disease.
But eh, we can't let any goodwork go unpunished can we ?
