I was adopted days after birth, because my birth mother was under 16 when I was born and this was unacceptable to her parents at the time. She was placed into a convent during her pregnancy. So I guess I am part of the stolen white generation that the OP refers to.

It has caused her ongoing guilt, grief and anguish for the 47 years I've been alive.

Lots of things were done in the past, that aren't acceptable now. It's the way of the world. The current generation should not be, and is not to be, responsible for the actions of those in the past.

People need to accept what comes their way, get over it and move on. Feeling sorry for yourself, or showering pity on others, doesn't help anyone in the long run.

And money doesn't solve the issue either. That is just a short term hit that doesn't solve anything.

I wish the government would teach kids resilience, and respect, rather than worrying so much about academic subjects so much.
Nearly everything I learned in high school was not relevant when I went to uni. Nearly everything I learnt at uni hasn't been relevant to my career since.

I have compassion for anyone who has been given a raw deal, but no one can help someone move on in life - it has to come from within that individual imo. Only when a person decides to change their own life for the better, will that person improve.
