I heard it from a guy, who heard it from a guy etc. that Stone were being entertained by CRE a couple of months before FML announced their off market take over.
Following the FML arrival, and the Stone complications, some strategically placed CRE people were well advantaged by the SP fluctuations. Those people have since moved on.
I know that strategically placed people are very ethical, and would never entertain the idea of adapting to a situation to suit their personal interests, over that of other shareholders, so there's probably nothing in what the guy heard.
It's obviously just hearsay and innuendo.
