STONE STORMS LINCOLN CENTER in NYC

Its not every movie that gets a showing at the famous Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York city!

STONE (the original) had its Directors Cut North American premiere at the theater last week on Friday 13th August. On a date that traditionally is unlucky for some the iconic Aussie biker film played to a full house!

This is the first time outside of Australia that the Directors Cut has been screened and with lots of interest in the ozploitation genre and bike films. The after party in Brooklyn was also jammed to the rafters.

Stone is set to keep on riding with a red carpet showing in Los Angeles on September 12 and Stone Movie Limited, raising funds for the development of the new Stone, will be seeking to build on this public demand.

Said writer/producer Richard Cartwright I'm thrilled at the response to the original Stone in New York. Just a fantastic result and I'll be at the Hollywood screening in September, so that will be a further opportunity to capitalise on the massive interest and potential market and I cant wait to make this film!.
