The successful reentry and deepening of this well in 1990 by Syndicated Options created a drilling boom not seen in Clinton County for over a decade. Th e well blew out at 1008 feet in the Stones River formation and had to be produced through the drill string for nearly a year. For weeks on end th e well produced in excess of 1000 BOPD and has to date made over 250,000 barrels. Several years before the well was discovered we produced a Natural Fracture Potential Map of the Albany area. After the well was discovered the map was consulted and the well was found to be located at a fracture intersection.
