After a decade of dissent, blocked policies, stalled progress on nationally significant matters and growing deterioration in effectiveness of federal parliament I have had an absolute gut full.

For mine it has completely gone to excrement on Liberal’s watch. The Party is riven. The country is fibrillating on important matters.

I can barely remember when governments last enacted policy, to be judged on success or failure after being in office for a full term.

Australia is resilient enough to tolerate bad or ineffective policy for one full term government. The upside is, some of it will be good and will work.

One parliamentary term ... its worth a shot.
