It has already happened. Polling is relentlessly indicating the Coalition is now judged unfit to govern. When Gillard reached that point you will recall the entire country stopped listening. The decision had been made. Even Abbott was able to win in that situation. Just as even Shorten will win the next one.
History says that no policy changes will change voters minds once they have stopped listening.
Our only hope will be that Labor don’t have any “NBN” type good ideas while they are in office.
