    No, "taking in from surrounding countries" cleverly circumvents the more pointed argument. Adopting a few fellow Arabs fleeing the social and economic terrors of the Arab Spring is one thing, but holding out the hand of rescue to a social enclave hell-bent on the eradication of an entire surrounding nation is another.
    I'm not saying everything Netanyahu is doing is completely right, but history will judge him and his government on the degree of reciprocity metered out.
    None of these nations want the Palestinians. 60% of Gaza supports Hamas, and even political pundits inside the region are saying that if Israel is removed entirely, the remaining Palestinian factional elements will simply turn on each other. Hamas and Hezbollah aren't "brothers in arms." A Sunni idiom directly refers to the Shia as below a woman, even lower than a dog. So, the Arab belief that, "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" rings true, only until the enemy capitulates.
    That's why they'd rather send toilet paper, water, and hummus.
