@nursery as far as I am aware no demonstrations have physically attacked the Jews - just the present leader of Israel, Netanjahu. There is a substantial population in Israel who also happen to be Jews, who do not support Netanjahu's continuing aggression against his neighbours. NO-one attacks 'the Jews' - just the policies of the present regime in Israel is questioned and protest marches are held. Surely he must know that by now, very few of the hostages would be alive - probably ill-treated and neglected by their captors, who day-by-day must hate their prisoners more and more.
I no longer can bear to watch the news, when yet another desperate father, mother is digging around in totally destroyed buildings for remains of their family. What is happening there is a crime against humanity committed by someone who does not listen to his own people, happens to be a jew, but simply needs to win this war in order to save his own skin. A true criminal! - He needs to be stopped!
