@Sailor FNQ; as with Donald Trump and the GOP, it's my assessment that the Liberal Party will stick with Peter Dutton because no-one in the party has either the intellect or the backbone to query what he's doing.
The spectacle Dutton created in Parliament today by rudely and offensively heckling Independent female MP Zali Steggall as she prosecuted the case for demonstrating humanity to vulnerable Palestinians in Gaza has outed Dutton as an incentive, uncaring, rude, overbearing, prejudiced and self-addicted bully-boy.
If Diaper Donnie yet again loses the US Presidential Election, those turning a blind eye and a deaf ear to Dutton's outbursts will become increasingly nervous and maybe even reflect on why Tony Abbott had to be sacked for gross incompetence after having earlier been gifted a second chance.
