    @Taurisk; thanks for your response and for the insights you provided.

    Throughout Australia dedication to religions / church is highly variable.

    That's NOT the case with out federal politicians, most of whom try hard to persuade us they're very good, practising Christians [currently mainly Catholics, especially Labor pollies].

    Yet Australia is supposed to be a secular democracy, NOT one which creates laws to advantage some religions over others and religion ahead of non-believers.

    Our federal government has not only violated out core values in this regard, they've even tried to attribute criminality to people who publicly express views challenging the beliefs of some religions. Then there's the never-ending list of subsidies, freebies, exemptions, grants, available to 'religions' which are denied to 'non-believers'.
