@BCCanuck; this thread is about Stegall's call in Parliament for Peter Dutton to STOP being racist and that's what I've been addressing on this thread!

A. Your appear to have erred in the wording of your question.
1. Your question is factually wrong - Gazans are reported by MSM and our pollies to being checked at the Egyptian border crossing by both Egyptian and Israeli officials. According to responsible Ministers, if any applications by Gazans are processed they will indeed be checked.
2. According to media reports and claims by the IDF, Gazans are being prevented from crossing the Border - full stop [ie. unable to even get out of Gaza, let alone to Australia and into Australia].
3. ASIO is responsible for processing applications and has recently rejected and dismissed Peter Dutton's recent ignorant, ill-informed and destructive comments apparently intended to undermine ASIO itself.
4. The biggest risk to Australia is the manner in which the Coalition is undermining public confidence in Australia's security and immigration services.

You're entitled to your opinion of Peta Credlin, albeit it's at odds with reality.
