@uranium69; many wealthy and influential Australians regard Israel as their real home and often reside in properties they've acquired there.

It appears that the recent deaths of six hostages almost twelve months after Netanyahu's Regime promised to 'exterminate Hamas' and rescue those hostages has been a game-changer. Massive and daily protests and even strikes throughout Israel are taking a toll and may yet lead to an insurrection / coup.

The anxiety / fear of protesters and of those lobbying Albanese's Government is palpable - the entire region may yet implode as Netanyahu's rogue, psychopathic regime continues to thumb its nose at the international community and the US continues to pour supplies of WMDs and munitions into IDF hands.

Palestinian civilians have already paid an inhumane price, one that Netanyahu's Regime and its backslappers just scoff at. Netanyahu's Regime has thereby established a distressing benchmark that many countries will now also apply to Israel.
