I am serious its 101 of basic market valuation. You tell me if Telstra cut its dividend in half that the share rice wont fall considerably.
If BHP increase its payout ratio it will put upward pressure on the share price just like if it cut its payout in half the shares will fall.
Pretty simple really
I am not talking of a special div I am talking a increase in the payout ratio
