ok so now i know we are dealing with gullible people who actually think that POLITICIANS of ANY persuasion CAN BE TRUSTED.

damn right that's a lie. any intelligent person will tell you that the controversy is over whether Humans are responsible for the extra emissions which are tipping us into an uncharted red zone.
LIE 4: "Australia has been made to feel guilty about our CO2
i agree. i don't feel any guilt whatsoever. i just feel compelled to partake in a more efficient society. Whoever thinks australia has been made to feel guilty obviously has some personal issues that they need to deal with. repression in its many cloaks has alot to answer for in society
LIE 5: "A carbon tax in Australia will change the CO2 emissions output in an unknown period of time."
no argument there. tax is just an enforced way of regulating human activity. similarly, a spanner wont fix a car, but it can be used to fix a car. perhaps if people were more charitable, there would be no need for tax?
LIE 6: "Consumers to be compensated due to higher cost of living rises from a carbon tax."
