Because stability in a country is important, yes in practically every country there are dissruptions but if you go back a few years to one of Platinums announcements regarding the mining contractor there were many minor strikes untill the major one which took everyone off the site except for a skeleton staff.
For those investors like myself who bought in about 7 years ago, well before a working mine was envisaged did see potential in a speculative stock, everthing seemed to be going to plan so on paper it did look good. I didn't sell all so am just holding some for the hell of it.
I hope Platinum does come back or maybe an African company to buy the whole enterprise and Platinun to fade off into the sunset.
