Overtrading or setting stop losses too tight ...
I entered a share trading game once, you got to buy $100k of stock. I bought the $100k, but then didn't bother to trade anymore as I got busy with real trading. Anyway 2 months later I looked back at my game balance and it had tripled, while my real stocks had only done up about 15%.
There was a lesson there I said to myself, but while my monthly % return is improving with experience, I have not been able to do as well as in the game.
