If the government expects any of these mines to get up to provide the country with revenue, they need to do forced acquisition of farm land at state assessed prices like they do when they are building tunnels and railways and other state significant projects. Then the farms can be resold to the same farmer or any other at a lower price with relevant legal clauses and caveats in place. The farmer extortion BS, the jumping through hoops and the greenpeace economic sabotage will never end otherwise.
