There is a major fault in the OP and that is the word LOSS !
Generally it should be only a few percentage points below the purchase price.
If you missed that then that is your bad.
Setting a stop loss is always a matter of your personal financial situation and you adjust it accordingly if the price climbs.
Unless you are a long term holder, you take profit when there is one that satisfies your needs.
I suggest you read a bit more about investing before asking such a stupid question..
