the advice given to me was when shares are sold in co the longest held parcel is dealt with first then second & third parcels
when selling to get capital only back, CGT applies the tax man views it as part profit taken.
i hope iam wrong ,tax would be a lot easier for me if iam.just keep leting the profits run & reinvest capital again & again . the advice did come from accountant but maybe he's like my former brocker, useless
