As you can see today, it can be very dangerous to short a quality-stock like Biota.
We have seen in Germany recently that many investors completely ruined themselves when they were shorting Porsche/VW !
So if I wanted to go short, then I would pick a weak stock, but not a company with such fantastic perspectives (Relenza, LANI, HRV etc.) like Biota IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC...
What we have seen today is imho that a large investor from the USA is buying into Biota. When I remember it right, they said at the AGM that CEO Mr. Cook would do a US-roadshow "within 1 or 2 weeks".
Today seems to be the first result.
Imho this is only the beginning and I would not be surprised, if other big investors from overseas will follow up in the next weeks.
