big day for bhp tomorrow! About time some good news comes out of BHP. I agree that it's not right to choose the timing of the announcement to the end of day so that the share price will move the most on opening.
Big Day for BHP tomorrow ... any thoughts?
My thoughts are that if there is positive news in the AGM, as well as digesting the positive news in this current announcement, and also the positive news from the aluminium presentation yesterday, then the stock should have a good day tomorrow.
Also note that BHP sits on a PE ratio of aaprox 11 for this year's forecasts (heavily undervalued for a blue chip of the calibre of BHP). To qoute AFR Smart Investor "every $US 1 increase in the price of iron ore will affect profits of BHP by about $60 million!!!!
