stop press: will ken henry leave the building?

This is one of my political posts that could be worth read lol! Ken Henry, the author of the RSPT debacle, schmozzle, farce, call it what you will....may be resigning!

He can go off into his happily superannuated index linked pension existence....as far away from the wealth generation process that funds his and his little coterie's existence, with a pat on the back.

The fact that he put the Australian wealth generation process under the greatest risk in decades will be lost on hi & his ilk. And mining investors who collectively lost untold billions via his brain-dead RPST..will probably not be invited to his farewell party either.

Vale, Ken Henry. May flocks of devils send to off with a bang.


Treasury boss Ken Henry 'could quit before May'

SPECULATION is building that the nation's best-known public servant, Treasury boss Ken Henry, might leave his post before the May Budget.

Dr Henry, who will chalk up 10 years as Treasury Secretary in April, is said to be thinking of a new career. His loss would be a blow to the Government.

Dr Henry has been a key man in the Government's economic and tax strategy and credited with helping steer the nation through the global financial crisis.

He was put in charge of the government's tax reform package, the Henry Tax Review, but barely a handful of his 138 recommendations were adopted.
