I think that's a good question @playwithfire. I had a look at some of the sale history of the Adelong project over the past couple of decades & the numbers vary...
July 2000 : Adelong Consolidated Gold Mines (AEG) sold the Adelong Project for $750k
April 2007 : Golden Cross Resources (GCR) sold the Adelong Project for $3M
Jan 2011 : Tasman Goldfields (TGX) sold the Adelong Project for $1.75M
Jan 2020 : Macquarie Gold Ltd (Liquidators) sold the Adelong Project for $1.41M
If the Adelong mine was put up for sale in its current state, I think potential buyers would be looking to pay $1.5M (or less).
