Vamman, that's what happens with technology stocks. Game changing tech like Metal Storm typically takes 20-30 years to enter use from their initial development to productization and deployment.

Examples include the AA12 shotgun, which was first developed in 1972; wasn't procured by USMC till 2004 (on the order of 30 years).

The XM25 Counter Defilade Target Engagement (CDTE) System entered use in 2005 in limited numbers. It was an evolution of the OICW program which was started in the aftermath of the Advanced Combat Rifle (or ACR) during the 1980s (also on the order of 30 years).

Metal Storm started in the early 90s, so we're 20 years in now; sorry, but when you invest in a stock like Metal Storm at least be aware of the risks and time frame that can be involved.

We're still years away from seeing this company turn a SIGNIFICANT profit in my opinion.
