Therein lies the opportunity. I know we both agree, but I see risk everywhere I look. I see so much risk in overpaying for mediocre businesses, which plenty of brokers and fund managers seem perfectly happy doing. It is probably why their long term returns are so bad given how short sighted they tend to be.
