Hopefully enough people will vote online or register their proxy vote by mail, in FAVOUR of all resolutions, so that the financial waste of holding the meeting in the Grand Ballroom is avoided.

It is as though Beard and Hobday wanted to have one last splurge at shareholders' expense. It was only 4 years ago when General meetings were held in the Molopo Boardroom. But with a much larger shareholder register (due to shares being issued at prices higher than today's share price), one should expect that a number of holders will want to go, to deliver the message personally. "Beard and Hobday, your services are no longer required."

Shareholders have the right to feel angry, given that Beard was given the opportunity to retire, or resign, without embarrasment to him, and without the cost of this meeting being incurred. But such is the ego of some people.
