Wow, Chinalco has really made a BAD investment on rio. Bought the stake when the AUD and rio sp were at record high.
Rio's CEO TA and the broad have virtually destroyed sharesholders by buying Alcan with enormous debt and then playing hard to get and buffing like a really bad poker player with BHP. Anyone with a brain would not have value rio equally to bhp except for the bloody rio's management.
I don't think bhp will run up any further today becoz all the gains were made by the "insiders" in the last few days. Remember BHP did spent $450m on this failed bid and withdraw because of BAD market conditions. DYOR.
