I actually think that any annoucement Monday will change nothing fundamentally but will be full of soothing words and positivity - which will probably put a 10+% rocket under the SP.
I also agree that AOE will initially reject the offer - also helping the LNG SP along.
In the idealised, wishful thinking world - AOE can just 'promise' not to sell acreage to raise FL funding and Shell will then be confident that AOE will supply Curtis with enough gas, then AOE raise money with the current high SP though SPP/Cap Raising - and everyone is happy! And I'll be back into LNG.
