    Dear All,

Remember Health Minister Plubersek's analogy that the insurance premium increase was only a cup of coffee a week?

"The average increase is $3.70 a week - that's about the cost of a cup of coffee."

    http://news.smh.com.au/breaking-news-national/premium-rise-wont-mean-exodus-plibersek-20130208-2e2rd.html

I now feel bad for the cup of coffee. 'John' has superseded it. But now 'John' must go without a further 2 cups of coffee a week. 'John' has now lost 3 cups of coffee a week.

Why doesn't the government simply tell the nation 'look it isn't $12 billion dollars, it is more like 3,200,000,00 cups of coffee?'
