In relation to stocks with real long term potential, I agree strongly with TOL, also WPL - this company has an enormous resoure with incredible long term potential in their NW Shelf venture. They stand to make billions long term primarily through LNG sales to Asia. You might think they're exp at around $42, but trust me, they're cheap now compared to where they'll be three yrs from now!!! Also have a look at PRG. This company started out as an Australian contracted painting company, but has diversified to become an Australian, NZ and UK maintenance, painting, waste disposal, etc company. Hardly gets coverage on HC, but its solid as a rock, pays a good div and IMHO will continue to grow in future as it has been in the past.
