Since the 18th Nov announcement, i have been accumulating heavly on MYR. My main reason is I think the new strategy is starting to work. It will still take time but people are coming back to brands and the Myer stores are seeing what the consumer wants. This view is based on general public sentiment that i can see and regularly shopping in Myer and seeing the change (including a much improved customer service philosophy). I wouldn't be surprised to see a few more non performing stores close and the extra funds going into remodeling the main shopping centre stores like Chadstone, Doncaster & Southland.
I am also interested if anyone has been through the new Myer store at Warringah mall Sydney. I would go in but its a bit far from Melbourne
