AGM is on today so there will be shareholder questions. People argue that SUN simply paid to much for Promina and are struggling to realise the value.
SUN can hide behind the credit crises and storms but their underlying performance is woeful.
The CEO has defended publicly the price paid for Promiina on the basis that it was mostly scrip.
What a lame comment. Giving away excess scrip is equal to giving away shareholder equity which at the end of the day equals money.
The other problem that SUN have is that they have failed to generate real synergy benefits from this acquisition.
Somebody should be held accountable for the destruction of shareholder value.
