It looks like they haven’t done their own Tecticornia survey but relied on historical surveys. That avoids the problem of finding something new!
Only 8 nights on the parrots compared to 100 for KLL and around 500 for RWD. That saves time. Apparently not much spinifex.
Full processing water extraction is exempt. Most of the infrastructure falls within the demo plant exemption negotiated.
I think the work required will be straightforward but any production in Q3 will be from Williamson pit brine and not the borefield or trenches outside of demo area.
They may be producing in Q3 but unlike KLL they probably won’t be producing from either the borefield or main system of trenches because I can’t see the minister signing off before 30 June and if he does it will be tight.
