All this means 2 me is the Salary Cap is 2 SMALL.
These players put there bodies on the line most ONLY have a 5 year prime earnings period in the game.
Paid half as much as AFL (great players but bodies arent as damaged from the game).
The amount of money paid to NRL from tv rights does not come back to the clubs enough imo.
Look at the good ole days when the ground use to be green from the grasses natural colour,look at the advertising covering it now.
Dont even start me on the goal post covers remember the giant moo cow colours in Nth Qld games.
Media all over this Y, trying to discredit the game 4 ages Murdoch got his nose out of joint with Super League squashed. Y else have we been changing the rules EVERY year with some rules straight from Union ie play the advantage!!
Funny that Murdoch has decided to stay backing them. Also very funny how much Media Play this situation is getting. 1 point of interest though is at least the players would be on good salaries if Super League had of won the day;))
How about the other controversies Matty Johns. The girl brags to work mates about her adventure. They dont react as positively she files charges 2 protect her rep(she really has 1 now).
Football end of season trips away have been doing this since as far back as who knows how long. But media didnt bother with it then.
