If you backcheck my threads I've been having that problem for a few years now with my financial institution (regional), it takes 3 days to get anything over $3K, and they say its a reserve bank dictum because they actually have to file a request for that amount of CASH before it is delivered to the bank for me to withdraw. So I have learned to keep a bit more cash at home, far more than I want but at least it's on hand when I need it.
