The question I have is why does someone need $10,000+ in cash to buy something? Heck, even $3-5k. It's 2019. We have bank cards, banking apps, Venmo, Cashapp, Beemit, instant crypto wallets.. the list goes on. I agree with the government that very few people would deal legally with sales/purchases of more than $10,000 in cash. To physically go into a bank to withdraw money, to physically take it to a location to buy something off an individual who then has to go to the bank to deposit it.. that's ridiculous in 2019. Or even if they aren't depositing the money, what are they spending that $10,000 on now? That's a lot of groceries, petrol and general purchases. Or if it's because someone wants to keep it off the books and under the table, then that's exactly what the government is trying to stop.

Why do you care if i am paying 10k cash for a car or bathroom..if it is illegal - then make it illegal. Otherwise it is FREEDOM do you not know Freedom?
