Road? Rail? I can only quote the Stormcrow report:

"This process is estimated to have a cost per tonne of $530 per tonne, including environmental and transport costs using trucks for a 60 km haul to port. "

    Stormcrow's words, not mine.

Much more important, though, is that, in performing a comparison with other graphite producers, Stormcrow ignore the reality, that SYR will be mining high-grade areas, with 17-20% graphite, for several decades to come. Instead, Stormcrow use a graphite grade derived from the overall average graphite grade for the whole 1.15 B tonnes of ore at Balama, of 10.2% graphite.

Putting the real figure into their calculations causes SYR to zoom to the top of the tree, in the Stormcrow table of ore value per tonne. The value of Balama ore is further enhanced by the vanadium, which Stormcrow simply forget about in their calculations. Stormcrow must know the truth, yet have elected to distort the picture.

Whose barrow are they trying to push? How ethical, and professional, is an outfit which publishes a report like this?

    Cheers, Prime1
