Rumours of their demise are greatly exaggerated.

There's a story in this weekend's Kalgoorlie Miner on how the collapse of FAS will cost local city councils up to $600k in lost rates.

Report says the only unsecured creditors owed more money than city council are Greywood Holdings, K Robertson and Con M.

City CEO said attempts to recover the funds only amounted in additional costs via debt agencies etc.

Report erroneously says FAS went into suspension in Sept this year.
