I can't see why Merck and Stragen have given Cephalon an option to buy their shares for 70c, in exchange for "no fee or other consideration" (other than some $10 nominal sum). How does that make sense? Maybe that was the bribe necessary to get Cephalon to invest $15m, but why wouldn't Merck and Stragen have paid that all by themselves?
