I didn't invent this, but got it out of a newspaper - a bit late now to check. I did have shares in Cazaly, but was out of it before they filed their claim.

Fact is that politicians will favour the company which has the greater potential to bring in revenue and provide jobs. Judges are supposed to be impartial, but no doubt many base their decisions on what is good for the community, as well as being aware that any extraordinary judgments they make will set a precedent that could have a snowball effect and produce an avalanche of similar claims. In the case of Namibia it could put a great deal of exploring and mining activities in jeopardy, and would put foreign investors off.

I am not concerned, but realise we may have to wait a bit longer for BMN's s.p. to stabilise, until the matter is finally dismissed. Today there was a turnover of 1 1/2 million shares - could be the start of an upturn.
