Your asumption are correct and I generally agree with your observations. The issue is often when a drug misses its mark, it becomes a very hard sell even if the sceince appears to be potentially good. I think where there are so many product and so little funds, companies start to shy away from the hit and miss products. Xtoll seems to be hitting on target but in the end it was a big miss. I still find the result hard to except when all previous information was telling us a different story.
As you say anything is possible with this stock.
